Welcome to Brewing Moments, a place where we share the joys and challenges of motherhood, our love and passion for all things coffee, and the simple things that can guide us through it all. I started this space to share my experiences and thoughts. No matter where you are in this adventure, there’s always something new to discover and discuss.
I’d like to start this off by not only welcoming you but thanking you for choosing to stop by. I hope that I am able to provide some great information from my experiences. For so long I’ve placed this project on the back burner. I am so glad to have finally started. Writing has always been a love of mine and it is one of the skills that I loved sharing with my own mother. I have been reading blogs for about 15 years now and since the beginning, I have always wanted to create a space where I can share my own writings expressing my thoughts of the time. I’ve made plenty excuses and never thought the “right time” would come so now I am making this the right time.
Now, to introduce myself. My name is Charanika. I mostly answer to Nika and a few people here and there call me Char. As long as you say it correct, I’ll answer to any of those. I’m from Louisiana but have resided in Texas for the last decade. My love for Cajun & Creole food is deep. I have 3 little ones whom I adore and I am also married. I served in the Air Force for 7 years until I got out to focus on being a SAHM.
I am in no way an expert but I could talk about food, motherhood, and the military for days. Being able to share my experiences and learning from others, is what I love. As every journey is different, there will always be something new to learn. I always hope that I whatever I learn can be used in my own life.
One of my goals with this blog is to build up a community. A real solid community because I know that not everyone has a village to lean on. I want this to be a space where we can share ideas and learn from each other. Motherhood is not a one size fits all type of thing. Every journey is different just as every child is different. We will all face challenges thoughout the years. It helps to know that you are not alone on this journey. I do ask that you bare with me as I navigate through this new adventure of mine. I am always up for a challenge and I love learning new things but I am not always the best at it. As I continue to grow through this, I sincerely hope that you stay for the ride.
My hope is that when you find a rare moment to relax with a cup of coffee, you think of this space and return for a quick read.
